Connecting to Plex
Plex is the quickest server to connect: you sign in with your Plex account and your libraries appear automatically, with nothing to type.
Signing in
Section titled “Signing in”- On the welcome screen, tap Continue with Plex. To add Plex later, open Settings → Sources & Servers and tap Sign in to Plex.
- Zuno opens the Plex sign-in page in a secure window.
- Sign in with your Plex account and authorise Zuno. Your libraries load automatically.
On Apple TV
Section titled “On Apple TV”Signing in with a TV remote is awkward, so Plex uses a linking code instead:
- Choose to sign in to Plex on your Apple TV.
- Scan the on-screen QR code with your phone, or visit the URL shown in any browser.
- Enter the code displayed on your TV, then sign in and authorise Zuno on your phone. Your Apple TV links automatically.
Choosing your server and libraries
Section titled “Choosing your server and libraries”If your Plex account has access to more than one server (for example your own and a friend’s shared server), their libraries appear together in Zuno. You can add other servers, including Jellyfin and Emby, later; see Multiple Servers.
Remote access
Section titled “Remote access”Plex handles remote access for you. As long as your Plex Media Server has Remote Access enabled and is signed in to the same Plex account, Zuno can reach it whether you are at home or away, no manual address or port needed.
If a server is unreachable, see Remote Access & Connection Issues.
Troubleshooting the connection
Section titled “Troubleshooting the connection”My libraries aren’t showing. Make sure you completed the Plex sign-in and authorised Zuno. You can re-run the connection from Settings → Servers.
A server is missing from the list. Confirm it is powered on, signed in to the same Plex account, and (if you are away from home) has Remote Access enabled.
