Siri, Shortcuts & Visual Intelligence
Zuno works with Siri, the Shortcuts app, and Visual Intelligence so you can start something playing, search your library, or request a title without tapping through the app. The related options live in Settings → Apple Intelligence.
Asking Siri to play something
Section titled “Asking Siri to play something”Ask Siri to play a title and it opens straight into Zuno:
- “Play [title] in Zuno”
- “Watch [title] in Zuno”
Siri finds the match in your library and starts it playing. No setup is needed.
Searching your library by voice
Section titled “Searching your library by voice”You can also hand a search to Siri:
- “Search Zuno”
- “Find something in Zuno”
Siri asks what you’re looking for, then shows the matches from your library so you can pick one.
Requesting with Siri
Section titled “Requesting with Siri”If you use a request server, Siri can request something new without opening the app at all:
- “Request something in Zuno”
Say the title, then pick from what Siri finds. The request goes to your connected request server.
Shortcuts
Section titled “Shortcuts”Zuno provides three actions for the Shortcuts app, so you can build your own automations and add them to your Home Screen or a widget:
- Play Media: play a given title.
- Search Library: search your library.
- Request Media: request a new title.
Combine these with the rest of Shortcuts however you like, for example a single tap that plays a specific show.

Section titled “Schemes”Zuno supports deep links, allowing you to open specific screens or perform actions by invoking a URL.

Turn this on with Find Titles from Posters in Settings → Apple Intelligence. Switch it off to stop Zuno appearing in visual search results.
