Server Dashboard
The Server Dashboard gives you a live view of everything playing on your server, right now, from your iPhone or iPad. See who’s watching, what they’re watching, on which device, and whether it’s playing directly or being converted on the fly. If you run the server, you can also step in: stop a stream, send a message to someone’s screen, kick off a library scan, or check the recent activity log.
Opening the dashboard
Section titled “Opening the dashboard”Tap your profile picture at the top of the home screen and choose Server Dashboard. If anyone is streaming, the menu item shows the number of active streams next to it, so you can see activity at a glance without even opening it.
The dashboard groups everything by server, so if you’re an administrator on more than one, you’ll see each one in its own section.
What you’ll see
Section titled “What you’ll see”Each active stream shows as its own card with:
- Who’s watching and the device they’re on.
- What they’re watching, with artwork, and the episode where it applies.
- How it’s playing: a Direct Play badge when the file streams as-is, or a Transcode badge when the server is converting it on the fly, along with the quality and bitrate.
- How far through they are.
- Where they’re watching from.
It works the same across Plex, Jellyfin and Emby, so a mixed setup reads as one list. The dashboard updates on its own as streams start, pause and stop.
Stopping a stream
Section titled “Stopping a stream”Swipe a stream and tap Stop to end it. Zuno asks you to confirm first, naming the person and the title, because this stops playback on someone else’s screen.
Messaging, scans and activity
Section titled “Messaging, scans and activity”On Jellyfin and Emby servers, each server section has a few more admin tools:
- Message a viewer: swipe a stream and tap Message to send a short note that appears on their screen. Handy for a quick “dinner’s ready” without leaving the app.
- Scan Libraries: kick off a full library scan on the server, so newly added files show up without waiting for the next scheduled scan.
- Activity Log: open the server’s recent activity, newest first, to see what’s been happening.
These aren’t available for Plex servers.
- The stream count next to Server Dashboard in the profile menu is the quickest way to tell whether anyone’s watching.
- If a server section shows an error instead of streams, that server couldn’t be reached; the others still work.
- Nothing streaming right now simply shows an empty state, not an error.
